Christmas Joy GDP – 115

It has been a few months since I have entered a project into the Global Design Project, and as the theme is Christmas, and I am in the middle of making Christmas cards for my card class and for Friends I decided that I will enter a card.
The card for Global Design Project ” Christmas Joy” Challenge is a Double Z Fold Card, I love making cards using this Z fold.
The base card  measuring – 21 cm x 14.8 cm. Score and Fold at 10.5 cm and 5.25 cm.
Front layer – 4.75 cm x 14.3 cm
Insider layer – 10 cm x 14.3 cm
The band measures – 21 cm x 4 cm. Scored and folded at 10.5 cm – 5.25 cm – 5.25 cm
Front Z band insert 10 cm x 3.5 cm, Mid Z band 4.75 cm x 3.5 cm, End Z Band 4.75 cm x 3.5 cm

Love – Kylie’s International Highlights

“My Valentine” Card Theme

I decided to make a Valentine card for the Love Theme, as Valentine Day is all about love. This is a Double Z Fold Card using a standard card measurements. The base card is Very Vanilla cardstock the second layer is Powder Pink cardstock, the third layer I used the Year of Cheer Specialty  Designer Series Paper which I sponged with Soft Sky ink pad using a Sponge Brayer

I die cut the heart from the Bloomin’ Heart Thinlits, then sponged the heart in Soft Sky ink  and Powder Pink Ink. I fussy cut out the solid heart out of the Copper Foil Sheets.

I heat embossed both greetings using the copper embossing powder.

I used Very Vanilla card stock for the Z fold band, the two small panels I used Soft Sky Cardstock then I used Year of Cheer Specialty  Designer Series Paper which I sponged with Powder Pink ink using a Sponge Brayer. The flowers are from the Bloomin’ Love stamp set which I heat embossed using the Copper embossing powder then die cut using the Bloomin’ Heart Thinlits

P1020946 As one of the Top Ten Winners of Kylie Bertucci’s International Highlights  for October, I decided to make a card celebrating an 18th Birthday, It can be very special time for a young person and bring many Changes to their lives. They can starting voting in State and Federal Elections, and legally have an alcoholic drink, and with most starting their working life.

Card Recipe
Base card Pacific Point Cardstock Second layer Crumb Cake Cardstock which has been embossed with the Brick Wall Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and the sponged with Early Espresso Stamp Pad and Soft Suede Stamp Pad  Blend the two colours with water using the Aqua Painters when dry stamp the piece with the Hardwood Stamp and Early Espresso stamp pad.
