Global Design Project 221 | Colour Challenge

Well here we are into an new year, where has 2019 gone. I hope you all had a a great Christmas and New Year.
My first challenge for the year will be the Global Design Project which is a colour Challenge combining colours – Early Espresso, Shaded Spruce and Cherry Cobbler.

Stampin' Up! Color Inspiration - Early Espresso, Shaded Spruce, Cherry Cobbler

The Colours would be great for a Christmas Card but I decided not to make a Christmas card instead I decided to make a birthday card, which I must say was a bit of a challenge in it’s self. The stamp set I used was the Ride With Me stamp set.

Using a sponge brayer I sponged the inside of the Subtle 3D embossing folder using Shaded Spruce ink, then embossed a piece of Shaded Spruce cardstock. I water coloured the road using Early Espresso ink. I sponged the sky by lightly braying with Shaded Spruce.

I stamped the car image from the Ride with me stamp set, I coloured the truck using Cherry Cobbler and Early Espresso Stampin’ Blends. Then I fussy cut the truck.
I stamped the Balloons twice and coloured using Cherry Cobbler and Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends. then die cut the balloons using the die from the Truck Ride Dies
