This weeks Challenge for the Global Design Project is CASE the Designer. The card I am CASEing is a lovely card by Charlet Mallet, from the United State.
I used the Forever Blossoms Stamp set and the Matching Cherry Blossoms Dies, and the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series paper. I used Watercolour paper for the stamping of the Cherry Blossom flowering Branch, using StāzOn ink.
The card base is Blushing Bride cardstock measuring a 12 x 12 cm when folded, The Designer Series Paper measures 11.5. x 11.5 cm. I watered coloured the Cherry Blossoms flowers with Blushing Bride ink and the leaves using Old Olive ink and a Blender Pen. I coloured the branches using the Bronze Stampin’ Blends.
I stamped the “Celebrating You is the Best” greeting from the Birthday Jubilee Stamp set in Balmy Blue ink pad onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock which matches the Designer Series Paper Background. I die cut the greeting using the Layering Circles Dies. I also die cut a piece of Blushing Bride cardstock using the Scallop edge die from the Layering Circles Dies.
For the insert I water coloured the bottom half of the stamped Cherry Blossom Branch image using the same technique as for the other Cherry Blossom Branch. After die cutting the piece cut the bottom part of the Branch away from the top. attach to the bottom of a 11,5 x 11.5 cm Whisper White cardstock then attach to the inside of the card
