Birthday Card

I was inspired by the colours in Steffi’s flowers,Orange flowers on lemon lime twist leaves in creating this Birthday card.
The card Base Elegant Eggplant cardstock, next layer Whisper White Card Stock, the three embossed panels are Elegant Eggplant and Pumpkin Pie Cardstock with each panel be embossed with Softly Falling and Petal Pair Texture Impression Embossing Folders.
The flowers are stamped in Elegant Eggplant and Pumpkin Pie inks, with the leaves stamped in Lemon Lime Twist ink.

Heartfelt Blooms – Thinking of you 

As one of the Top Ten Winners of Kylie Bertucci’s International Highlight March Blog Hop I decided to make a card using the Heartfelt Stamp set from the Sale-A-Bration Brochure.

I Heat embossed the Flower image and the greeting using silver embossing powder. The photo of the card dose not show the embossed flower very well. The Base card is Basic Black cardstock,I used Silver Foil Sheet for the next layer and and Sweet Soirée Designer Series Paper for the top layer.

Truly Tailored Shirt Front Card

One of my Favourite from the 2018 Occasions Catalogue is the Truly Tailored stamp set, Tailored Tag Punch and the True Gentleman Designer Series Paper

This is a gate folding card, I used Very Vanilla Cardstock for the base, I used two different designs from the True Gentleman Designer Series Paper for the front and inside panels, I folded down the the top of the panels to create the collar. I used Crushed Curry cardstock for the the inside panel.

Wedding Card

My Theme for this Global Design Project is a Wedding Card, it has to be on of the biggest changers for a couple as they starts a new life together. with many challenges, they will have to face in their new life together.

The base of the card is Melon Mambo Cardstock, the first layer is Shimmery White Cardstock second layer is Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper which has been die cut using the Detailed Floral Thinlits Die The flowers and leaves are die cut using the Flourish Thinlits Die, the frame in the centre is cut using the Layering Squares Framelits Dies. I stamped the two bells using the Seasonal Bells stamp set and the Bell Punch on Whisper White Cardstock. The bells were stamp with VersaMark® ink pad and Silver Embossing Powder.

I made this Wedding card using some of the new products from 2018 Occasions Catalogue, I used cardstock Berry Burst, Blushing Bride and Whisper White. I stamped the leaves in Garden Green ink and the flowers in Berry Burst and Blushing Bride ink on Whisper White cardstock.
The flowers images are from the new stamp set Cake Soirée (Occasions Catalogue Page 12) and the Mr. & Mrs. image is from the Cheers to the Year Stamp Set.
I used the new Sweet Soirée Decorative Mask (Occasions Catalogue Page 13) with the White Embossing Paste which has been dyed with a a drop of Blushing Bride ink.

I used Lemon Lime Twist cardstock for the base card, with Calypso Coral cardstock for the second layer and Bubble & Fizz Designer Series Paper for the next Layer. I used the Layering Circle Frameits for the small circles and the circle in the centre of the card which have been die cut from the Bubble & Fizz Designer Series Paper and Gold Foil Sheets. The greeting is from the “Picture Perfect Birthday” stamp set. the Panda image is from the Party Pandas Stamp Set that is free with any $90 order from either the Annual catalogue or the Occasions Catalogue.

It has been a few months since I have entered a project into the Global Design Project, and as the theme is Christmas, and I am in the middle of making Christmas cards for my card class and for Friends I decided that I will enter a card.
The card for Global Design Project ” Christmas Joy” Challenge is a Double Z Fold Card, I love making cards using this Z fold.
The base card  measuring – 21 cm x 14.8 cm. Score and Fold at 10.5 cm and 5.25 cm.
Front layer – 4.75 cm x 14.3 cm
Insider layer – 10 cm x 14.3 cm
The band measures – 21 cm x 4 cm. Scored and folded at 10.5 cm – 5.25 cm – 5.25 cm
Front Z band insert 10 cm x 3.5 cm, Mid Z band 4.75 cm x 3.5 cm, End Z Band 4.75 cm x 3.5 cm

 As one of the Top Ten Winners of Kylie Bertucci’s International Highlights  for October, I decided to make a card celebrating an 18th Birthday, It can be very special time for a young person and bring many Changes to their lives. They can starting voting in State and Federal Elections, and legally have an alcoholic drink, and with most starting their working life.

Card Recipe
Base card Pacific Point Cardstock Second layer Crumb Cake Cardstock which has been embossed with the Brick Wall Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and the sponged with Early Espresso Stamp Pad and Soft Suede Stamp Pad  Blend the two colours with water using the Aqua Painters when dry stamp the piece with the Hardwood Stamp and Early Espresso stamp pad.

These are the cards I sent for the June RAK

The card features the Flower Shop Stampin Set 130939 wood mounted 130942 Clear and the Wood Crate Framelite . For the card base and the flowers I used the new 2017/19 In-Colour Berry Burst Cardstock and Fresh Fig Cardstock the flowers are stamped with the 2017/19 In-Colour ink pad Berry Burst and Fresh Fig. The flowers are punched out using the Pansy Punch 

To make the little crate I stamped a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock using the Hardwood Stamp and the Basic Black Archival ink pad, then die cut the stamped piece using the Wood Crate Framelits. I stamped both sides of the Crumb Cake cardstock so the hardwood pattern is on the inside of the crate as well as the outside.

For my Global Design Project “Case the Design” Challenge  this week I decided to use the Frozen Treats Framelits Dies and the Cool Treats Stamp Set it is a great set for a Child’s Birthday card, or anyone who loves ice cream.

I used a little bit of a sparkle on the ice cream not to sure if you can see it. the Ice cream cones are mounted on to the 2015 – 2017 In Color Dollies. The dollies will retire at the end of May and are on special until the end of May or until they are sold out and are on special at $7.35 so check them out on the above link.

I have decided to entered a card into this weeks Global Design Project. I made the card using the So Detailed Thinlits Dies, which sadly will be retiring at the end of May

The Base card and the circle is the Flirty Flamingo cardstock, I used Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper to cut out the So Detailed die image. For the flowers I used the Botanical Builder Framelit Dies and Whisper White Card Stock and Dazzling Diamond Glimmer Paper for the center of the flowers which has been sponged using the  Flirty Flamingo ink pad.

It has been a while since I have entered into the Global Design Project. and it is about time I entered a card. I made the card using the Thoughtful Branches stamp set and Thinlits Dies.I just love this Bundle.

I only used three colours for this card, Whisper White cardstock for the base and the New 2016-2108 in Colours, Flirty Flamingo stamp set for the flower head and greeting, Flirty Flamingo from the 12 x 12 Designer Series Paper Stack for the strips on each side of a piece of Whisper White cardstock and a piece of A4 Flirty Flamingo cardstock for the back of the flower head which has been raised to give a 3D effect. and Emerald Envy cardstock for the stem of the flower.
