Welcome to the weekly Global Design Project Challenge! The Project this week is CASEing designer # 176, CASE = Copy And Selectively Edit.  The designer this week is Steffi Helmschrott from Germany.

Pretty Doilies Card

For this Challenge I used the Dear Doily Stamp set and the Doily Builder Thinlits Dies. To make the Doily background I stamped the doily images using ink pads Grapefruit Grove, Highland Heather, and Lemon Lime Twist ink pads.

Theme Challenge – Global Design Project 175

Welcome to my weekly blog hop with the Global Design Project. This week theme is  Down the Garden Path #175.

My Garden Flowers and Butterflies Card

The base card is Whisper White cardstock, which I embossed using the Subtle Embossing folder. I die cut a circle from a piece of Lemon Lime & Twist cardstock using the Layering Circles Framelits. Then emboss with the Basket Weave Embossing Folder.

I die cut a piece of Window Sheet using the Layering Circle Framelits, then I attached it to the back of the circle on the Basket Weave piece. I attached one of the butterflies from the group of butterflies form the Butterfly Beauty Thinlits Dies which I also attached some Adhesive – Backed Sequins around the butterfly to the centre of the Whisper White Base.

.Attach Foam Adhesive Strips to back of the Lemon Lime Twist piece around the circle and for sides, then attach to the front of the base card.

I used the Pop Of Petals stamp set for the flowers which I placed at the bottom edge of the circle. and I attached another butterfly to the top of the circle.

I used 12×12 Night of Navy Cardstock which I layered on top with a piece of Designer Series Paper from the Festive Farmhouse. I die cut the trees from the In The Woods Framelits Dies using Crumb Cake Cardstock which I sponge using the Champagne Shimmer Mist.

Scrapbook Sunday Blog Hop November – Love Your Selfie

The Theme for this month Scraping Sunday Blog Hop for Stampin’ Up! demonstrators. is Love your Selfie. Well I never love my Selfie that I taken so I decided to scrapbook a Selfie which my Granddaughter had taken of the Family when I was in Sydney early this year.
In the Photo has my Grandchildren Sabrina and William, my Son Aaron my Daughter-in-Law Hedy and the two Grandparents Lily and myself.

I used 12″ x 12″ Night of Navy cardstock for the base, Best Route Designer Series Paper for the rest of the page but adding a little bit of floral Designer for a bit of contrast. Other Products used Pineapple Punch cardstock Large Letters Framelits and Butterfly Thinlits.

 

 

Theme Challenge – Global Design Project 163

This week Global Design Project 163 is 30 years of Stampin’ Up! I have been part of this great company for five years as a demonstrator. I just love the products and support that demonstrators receive. Congratulations to Stampin’ Up! on your 30th Anniversary.

Poinsettia Christmas Card

I love the Peaceful the Peaceful Poinsettia stamp set. So I would had to create a card using the stamp set. The Base card is Cherry Cobbler cardstock,  I then coloured white embossing paste with Cherry Cobbler and using the diamond pattern Decorative mask I spread the coloured over a piece of Whisper White cardstock

I used Cherry Cobbler and Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends to colour the Poinsettia flower and leaves. then die cut using the Detailed Poinsettia Thinlits Dies. I stamped the  “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” sentiment from the Peaceful Poinsettia Stamp set onto a piece of Whisper White cardstock  using Cherry Cobbler ink pad, which I die cut using the one of the scallop edge from the Layering Ovals Framelits Dies, which I then sponged the edge using Cherry Cobbler ink.

Welcome to the October Scraping Sunday Blog Hop for Stampin’ Up! demonstrators. Theme for this month is Travel/Adventure.  I scraped two photos from a trip I made with the family to Malta and Rome in 1991

The Palace Armoury Valetta holds one of the worlds largest collection of Arms & Armoury, which is still housed in it’s original building.

The Miracle Church of Mosta. On April 9, 1942, two German bombs fell on The Church of the Assumption of Our Lady in Mosta, a city in central Malta. Mass was going on at the time, and more than 250 parishioners were in the church. One 500 kg high explosive bomb piece the dome and entered the church, The bomb did not explode.

IMG_0104I decided to keep the layout very simple and only used the Best Route Designer Series Paper. I cut out the squares using the Layering Squares Framelits then I layer onto Gray Granite and Whisper White cardstock.

Scrapbook Sunday Blog Hop September – “First”

Once again I am taking part in Scraping Sunday Blog Hop for Stampin’ Up! demonstrators. the theme for September is “First”. So after some though  I remembered I had a couple of photos of my first Stampin’ Up! Convention (On Stage), and as this is my Fifth year with Stampin’ Up! I decided it would be a great scrap page.
The event was held in Melbourne Convention Centre. I found it a bit daunting at first but thanks to two great ladies Cheryll Miller and Jackie McGee I had a wonderful time.

I attached one of the floral designs from the Petal Promenade Designer Series paper trimmed to measure 113/4″x113/4″  to a piece of 12″x12″ Whisper White cardstock, Then I trimmed one of the Marble designs to measure 91/2″x 91/2″ which I attached to a piece 12″x12″ which I trimmed to a thin boarder. Then attached to the floral piece.

For the flowers and leaves I used the Beautiful Promenade Stamp set then die cut with the Beautiful Layered Thinlits Dies. for the Journaling I used Layering Ovals Framelits Dies.

Where is the time going with a new month here already, I participated in Kylie International Blog Highlight in August with the theme being a Teachers Gift.  The Theme for September Congratulations. I decided to make a card that can be used either for a Engagement or a Wedding.

I was so please to see the return of Flirty Flamingo, I love how it goes so well with Lemon Lime Twist. So I decided to used both these colours for my card. I started by using Flirty Flamingo cardstock for the base, and Lemon Lime Twist cardstock for the next layer.On a piece of Watercolour paper and Flirty Flamingo ink pad I used the medium brush of the Aqua Painter to make a watercolour wash

Using Whisper White cardstock I die cut the heart twice using the Sunshine Wishers Thinlits Dies, and the Congrats using Lemon Lime Twist cardstock. also the two butterflies were also die cut from the Sunshine Wishers Dies. I stamped the sentiment from the Special Celebrations stamp set using Flirty Flamingo ink pad on to a piece of Whisper White cardstock, then die cut using the frame from the Petal & More Thinlits Dies. I also cut another frame from a piece of Flirty Flamingo cardstock. I coloured some clear Rhinestone using dark Old Olive Stampin’ blends.

The Global Design Project this week CASEing the designer Janneke de Jong from the Netherlands.
I used Whisper White Cardstock as the card base and then adhere Dashing Along Designer Series Paper which I attached Cherry Cobbler ribbon.

IMG_0046I stamped the “Merry Christmas from our family to yours” image from the Snowflake Sentiments stamp set using Cherry Cobbler ink pad.  I then die cut the stamp piece using the frame from the Stitched Labels Framelits Dies. I attach the die piece to the front of the card using Stampin’ Dimensionals. I die cut the bow from the Stitched Seasons Framelits using a piece of Cherry Cobbler Cardstock

Scrapbook Sunday Blog Hop August – Numbers

I am so happy to be part of the Scraping Sunday Blog Hop for Stampin’ Up! demonstrators, thank you Jenny Hall allowing me to be part of this Hop and Cheryll Miller who encourage and inspire me to have a go.
The theme today is “Numbers”.
I was not sure what I wanted to do, then I remembered that I have photos from my 70th Birthday party so I decided that it was the perfect time to start on my Birthday album.
It was a wonderful evening celebrating my seventh birthday surround by friends. As my Children live in Sydney they could not make it because of work commitments but I did receive beautiful flowers from them.

I used the Sahara Sand sheet from the Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper, which I layered on to Highland Heather Cardstock, I punched out the balloons using the Balloon Bouquet punch, then using the Stamparatus (what a great tool love it) I stamped the large texture image from the Balloon Celebration stamp set and the numbers from the Pick A Pennant stamp set onto the punched out balloons.

I stamp the balloon strings on to Sahara Sand Designer Series Paper. then I adhere  the balloons with glue and Dimensionals.

I Die cut the Birthday image using the Happy Birthday Thinlits, then I just cut away the Happy. I used the bow from the Pretty Pine Thinlits Dies and Frame from the Foliage Frames Framelits Dies for my Journaling.

 

The Colours I used for this Page are, Highland Heather, Pineapple Punch and Calypso Coral cardstock and Inks.                                                                                                                                                      Please click on each link below to see what the other talented demonstrators have created this month.

Teachers Gifts – Kylie’s International Blog Highlight

I have decided to enter in to Kylie Bertucci’s International Blog Highlight for August! the theme this month is Teacher’s Gifts.

I decided to use one of the new Copper Tea Tins that I decorated using one of the Marble papers from the  Petal Promenade Designer Series Paper. To decorate the the front of the tin I used Stitched Labels Framelits, Flowers from the Floral Frames which I coloured in Highland Heather and Petal Pink Stampin Blends.I die cut the 2 smallest leaves from the Foliage Frame Framelits, I lightly sponged the part of the leaves using Call Me Clover Ink.

I stamped the “For You” image from the Cake Soirée Stamp set on to a piece of Highland Heater cardstock, then die cut using the circle die from the Stitched Shape Framelits.

I made the Thank You card to match the Copper Tea Tin using Highland Heather Cardstock as the card base. I used the Thank You image from the Painted Glass stamp set

Case the Designer – Global Design Project 148

Words are Never Enough

The Global Design Project this week CASEing the design from talented Connie Collins from the US. I used the Large tree from the Rooted in Nature Stamp Set. which I coloured using Stampin’ write markers, then I die cut the tree using the tree die from the Nature’s Roots Framelits.

I stamped the wood element multiple times over a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock using Crumb Cake ink, then using Stampin’ Dimensionals I layered the piece over the Very Vanilla card front.

Love the Accented Blooms stamp set it is so pretty when the flowers are coloured. I used the Stampin Blends to colour the flowers. I used Pool Party Cardstock for the base then Calypso Coral Cardstock for the next layer and Basic Black Cardstock for the final layer which I embossed with the Petal Burst Embossing Folder

 Watercolour Butterfly Wings

As blue is the colour for Autism I have decided to post this card for the Blog Hop  I made this card  using the Stampin’ Up! Embossing Paste which has been sponged in Dapper Denim  and Lemon Lime Twist inks , the butterfly is stamped using the Watercolour Wings stamp set. Then Die cut the Butterfly using the Bold Butterfly Framelits. I die cut the Flourish using the Flourish Thinlits. I used the  Pattern Party Decorative Masks and Palette Knives to create a textured background.
